Scouting @ Home With Samoset Council

During this uncertain time during the COVID-19 outbreak, we want to ensure that all scouts in Samoset Council still have the opportunity to participate in scouting activities while still practicing sound Social Distancing practices. Below we have compiled resources you can use to keep Scouting alive at your homes. Please follow our Facebook and Instagram pages for more fun activities. Samoset Council Weekly Activities for Everyone

Spring Camporee - May 1-31

  • All families should participate in our spring camporee program by creating a campsite in your backyard.
  • To count for camping nights and rank advancement, unit approval is required. Troops and packs should coordinate a date to allow for video chats during your event.

May 17 - May 23 - Memorial Week

Post your picture that focuses on "In Memory of our Veterans" using the hashtag #SmileysHonor. You can post pictures of flags or posters in your yard or windows, driveway art, or photos honoring veteran family members.

At Home Merit Badges will only be accepted during the Safer at Home Order in Wisconsin. Fill out this certificate and send to your troop and support@samoset.org when complete.
