Inaugural Wood Badge Alumni Reunion

August 24-26, 2018 | Akela’s World, Rhinelander

A weekend filled with fellowship, food, memories, service, celebration and fun awaits you when you register for this premier event.

• ALL MEMBERS of Troop 1 who completed the six days of practical training are invited – regardless if you completed your ticket or not.  Your practical course work may have been completed with any Wood Badge course, regardless of council.
• Cost:  $35 includes meals, commemorative patch, sleeping quarters, or an area to pitch a tent
• Friday and Saturday overnights are available. Arrive as early as 3:00 Friday and enjoy unscheduled free time with friends. Make your own dinner arrangements. 
• Saturday check-in starts at 8:00 a.m. Activities and meals all day. Breakfast and worship service on Sunday.
• Limited indoor bunks are available (approximately 65) and areas for pitching tents at Akela's World.  Family Camp is available for individuals who want electric and water hookup.  Family Camp costs $20 per night, per site.
• Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be provided on Saturday, as well as breakfast on Sunday morning.  Partial attendance and early departure is OK.
• A slideshow featuring Wood Badge memories will be shown. (Please see below to submit photos.)
• Participants will gather in patrols with their fellow critters to complete selected service projects.  Alternate activities available for those not able to participate in projects.  
• Fulfill requirements toward the 70th Anniversary Award. This award recognizes the 70th anniversary of the first Wood Badge course held in the United States and is only available this year.
