Crystal Lake District

DISTRICT ELECTIONS/ANNUAL MEETING

On December 2nd the Annual Meeting and Awards Banquet for the Crystal Lake District will be held. Volunteers will be elected to serve on the upcoming year’s District Committee. A nominating committee is assembled to identify and recruit these individuals. Those with strong leadership qualities and talents related to a district function will be considered. Vast Scouting experience is not required. If you would like to recommend someone, contact Mike Pazdernik at mike@samoset.org or at 715-581-6312. The District Committee works to ensure every Pack, Troop and Crew delivers a quality Scouting program by offering them training opportunities, activities, and fundraising so Scouting grows in our communities.

FALL CAMPOREE

Thanks to Assistant Scoutmaster Dave Jennings for coordinating the fall camporee and to all those who helped with the merit badge instruction. Thanks to Troop 644 for hosting the event.

MONTHLY ROUNDTABLES

All leaders are encouraged to join the monthly roundtables to collect new program information, as well as share ideas with other leaders from the district. We meet the first Tuesday of every month at 7:00 pm at the Rhinelander James Williams Junior High School.

LEADER AWARD NOMINATIONS

Each Pack and Troop received a District Awards packet at the October roundtable. Many Volunteers deserve recognition for their efforts. Please take time to show your appreciation. Awards will be presented December 2nd at the District Awards Banquet/Annual Meeting. More information about this event will be coming soon.
