Four Mile Scout Camp

Just minutes away from Wausau sits a beautiful campsite right along the Four Mile Creek in the Township of Mosinee, WI.  This newly reclaimed area along the river has great camping spots in a quiet area where Scouts can be Scouts and the leaders can sit by the campfire.  There's a shelter with tables and and brand new latrine for your units use.  Spend your time just camping here or take a canoe or kayak down the river.

During the spring through fall, this is an excellent place for Packs, Troops and Venture Crews to test their camping skills and enjoy nature at its best.

During the winter, this is one of the best places to use your winter camping skills, and teach those who are not as experience as you. This is a wonderful place to bring your troop for a winter campout, building shelters, snow trenches, lean-tos, reflector cooking, Dutch-oven cooking, snow shoeing, cross country skiing, hiking and use those survival skills you taught the boys all summer long.

This is also a great place to bring your Cub Scout Pack or Den for a day in the woods, whether it is a spring, summer, or fall event, or even a fun day in the snow in our own winter wonderland. Your activities are only limited to the limits of your imagination.
