Your 2008 DirectorsThe camp leadership is proud to announce your camp leadership for 2008. Collectively, they have over 40 years of camp staff experience. They are dedicated and already working hard to provide another excellent experience this summer. Scott Domino, Reservation Director - Scott is returning for his 10th summer on staff having served in various positions including Tesomas Camp Director. He recently joined the professional staff of Samoset Council and serves as the Northwoods District Executive. Scott is an Eagle Scout, and past recipient of “On Wings of Excellence.” He has completed National Camp School training in Boy Scout Program and Climbing. (Contact Scott) Elvis Bauman, Ranger - Elvis is in his 10th year as ranger where he is responsible for the maintenance and care of the entire Reservation. He has been involved in Scouting since he joined Cub Scouting. Elvis works hard to ensure the camps are in top working condition for the Scouts and Scouters who will be visiting throughout the year. He has also completed ranger certification of National Camp School. (Contact Elvis) Jim Peterson, Commissioner - Jim returns for is 7th summer, previously serving as the director at the Trading Post, Personal Wellness, and Shooting Sports. At present Jim is attending Viterbo University majoring in Nursing, with minors in Psychology and Servant Leadership. He has completed National Camp School training in Shooting Sports and Commissioner. This summer his goal is to strengthen the Scouting program by working with adult leaders to create positive change. Reid Rayome, Staff Development Director - Reid returns for his 7th summer in a newly created position. In this role, he oversees the Counselor-in-Training program, general staff training and development, as well as the Reservation Chapel program. Reid attends UW-Madison, majoring in Philosophy with plans to pursue graduate studies in law and theology. He is an Eagle Scout and past recipient of the Tesomas staff “On Wings of Excellence” award. He has completed National Camp School training in Boy Scout Program. Jenna Diedrich, Business Manager - Jenna joined our staff in 2005 and has since worked as Trading Post staff, COPE/Climbing staff, and most recently as Camp Clerk. She is currently attending UW-Marathon County with plans to transfer to UW-Parkside to major in Theatre Arts with an emphasis in Theatre Education. Jenna is very excited to be in this role and proud to serve the entire reservation. Brock Raabe, Program Director - Brock has worked eight years in a variety of positions. He is attending school at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point, where he will soon graduate with a degree in Elementary Education. Brock loves to travel and has visited over a dozen countries. He has completed National Camp School training in Trek Leader and Cub Scout Program. Because of his love of Science Fiction, Brock is very excited about this years space theme at Akela’s World.
