Samoset Council Strategic Plan
In 2009, Roger Lucas, Past Chairman of the Board, led the council in the development of the new Samoset Council Strategic Plan. The plan was developed as a result of a series of fireside chats conducted in three locations across the council. Volunteer input was sought to lay the framework for the new strategic plan at these fireside chats. A SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats) analysis was conducted with the staff and the Board of Directors conducted a day long retreat to refine the plan which was adopted in November of 2009.
